The writing that you must read to solve the puzzles is so worn that’s it’s almost impossible to read. The room was so hot with no airflow. The speaker system that the game master talks through was too quiet and had bad sound quality. The music was too loud to be able to hear the game master over it. Huge disappointment.

Cell Block ER&H Escape Room -WaldorfEscape roomIRLThis is the only escape room I have never escaped. It is a difficult room, but some of the puzzles just didn’t work. At the end of the game, the game master asked if we had any puzzles. We asked about the one thing we could not get to work. We knew how it should have worked, but it did not line up correctly. The game master tried to show us but couldn’t get it himself. Instead of admitting it, he started to lead us out of the room…. This was at the very end of the game. If we didn’t have this hold up, we would have escaped. Disappointed.
Once Upon a CrimeMission Escape Rooms - AnnapolisEscape roomIRLThis room was a bummer. The theme sounded so fun, but the room did not live up to the hype. There were no “ahhhh” moments, just “oh…”. There was just no flow. The room was boring, the puzzles were boring and disappointing.
