It was not a fun time. The owner was nice but that’s not what we paid for or wanted to happen. It’s possible he has made significant improvements since our visit. Hopefully.

Being in Rome and considering the theme it could have been a more immersive with the theme and creative with some of the puzzles. We love to travel and are escape enthusiasts. The game master was a little too quick to provide clues when we could have figured things out/ hadn’t asked for help.

The Séance(West)Escape SacramentoEscape roomIRLMy husband and I LOVE escape rooms. We drove from Fresno (2 1/2 hours) to play this room. On the way, getting off the freeway we were rear ended in a tiny fender bender that literally made us 3 minutes late for our start time. We called the room to let them know but the employees had no compassion and started the clock before we arrived. Then took their sweet time explaining the rules and all the locks! Even though we told them we knew how the locks worked. Furthermore, in order to use clues or hints we had to use little poker type chips in a machine, which takes up time and sometimes doesn’t work, so we were repeatedly putting the little chips in a slot waiting for the machine to register. We had 1 puzzle left and the employees came in right away cutting off our game. I don’t recommend this company based solely on the horrible customer service.
