Operation Arctic Storm: The Final Meltdown
The Escape Ventures - Orlando
Escape room
IRL
We liked it! There were a few aspects of this escape room that were very different than any others we had done before. We always like how this escape room place has the GMs stay in character, and ours was very good!
Bros for Life: Fraternity Heist
The Escape Ventures - Orlando
Escape room
IRL
This is probably my favorite escape room I’ve done. The theming and the puzzles all work together so well, and I felt like the GM made the experience a lot more fun by staying in character. The plot was really fun and all of the puzzles were exceptionally well themed. I would highly recommend.
Outage: No Vacancy
The Escape Ventures - Orlando

The total darkness room was very unique and we liked it. It felt a little short, we were hoping there would have been 3 rooms rather than just 2, but we had fun and thought it was very different than the usual escape room experience!
The Satirical Miracle: A Jolly Tale Of Granny's Blackmail
The Escape Ventures - Orlando
Escape room

We liked it! We had 7 people, and I would say it was relatively easy. I think I liked other rooms at this location better in terms of theming, but I would recommend trying this one around the holiday season.
Only Murdere in the Building
The Escape Game - New York
Escape room
IRL
It was alright, probably the biggest downside is that they did stick some random people in the room with us at the last minute, which led to us not getting to personally experience some of the puzzles. This was a bit of a bummer since we are huge fans of the show and the people put with us were not, which led to us missing some of the Easter eggs to the show, which was disappointing considering how expensive this room is. The game play was fine, although I wish the plot of the room more closely tracked the “solving murders” premise of the show rather than tracking a B plot, especially since it didn’t make a ton of sense why you would need to solve puzzles to find some film rolls. We enjoyed it, but I really wanted to like it more.
Agatha Christie's Murder On The Orient Express
Escapology - Gainesville
Escape room
IRL
This room was primarily screens, which made it a bit less fun and harder to follow. This is one of the few escape rooms we’ve ever done where we did not escape, and I feel like part of that was by design.
Crisis At 1600
Gainesville Escape Game
Escape room

This game was a lot of fun! There was a pretty convincing set of the Oval Office that was really cool and the gameplay was interesting and unique. I would recommend!
Star Trek: Quantum Filament
Escapology - Orlando
Escape room
IRL
We solved this game pretty easily and were a bit disappointed by the fact that the entire room is just screens. It didn’t feel very immersive that way, it felt more like playing a video game. I am also a pretty big fan of Star Trek but I felt like most of the room seemed themed to be just generic futuristic spaceship theme rather than actual Star Trek theming.
Room 113
District Eat & Play Oviedo
Escape room
IRL
We were told we would only need to use two fingers of force to move anything that should be moved, but there were several things that had to be wrenched open to move that we missed the first time because they seemed to not open easily. There were also a few obvious clues that seemed to lead nowhere, not sure if these were intended to be red herrings or if they were just a part of the escape room that was eventually abandoned. A red marker was also left in the room that seemed to ultimately be irrelevant; I assume this was left accidentally by a staff member.
