Servants of SleightThe Exit Games FLEscape roomIRLStill one of the best games I’ve ever played. Everything flowed well, made sense, unique puzzles, interactions, one surprise after the next. Wish I could experience it for the first time again
Pins & Needles Tattoo ParlorThe Exit Games FLEscape roomIRLAnother amazing escape room! The intro was unique and they way it tied into later into the game was fun. The theme was definitely scarier than servants of sleight but still cool and unique. Parts of this room didn’t flow as well or were as logical as servants of sleight. Physicality is required in one part which wasn’t a concern in my group so I’m not sure how they accomodate for that. Still talk about this room and recommend it
The Family Fallout ShelterEvasive Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLA wonderful game that flowed so well, had fun tasks, and had us wanting more after every turn. It felt like a big tease because we finished the game so fast… subjectively it was a little too straightforward and too fast and we weren’t even rushing, we wanted there to be more. That’s the only disappointing thing about this room, so take your time, enjoy the ambience while you can.
Captain Spoopy Bones and the Magnificent Quest For Some Other Pirate's Treasure!Doldrick's Escape RoomEscape roomIRLAmazing room! You need A LOT of good verbal communication in this room as you are separated for part of it. The last room is so cool with their decorations and thoughtfulness of puzzles utilizing the decor.
Echoes at Murder HeightsPuzzle Corp. Escape Rooms [prev. America's Escape Game Orlando]Escape roomIRLNothing but good things to say about this room! Very immersive and spooky with some jump scares. Puzzles were logical and made sense- not anything new and crazy but solid variations of ones we’ve seen before. Would definitely recommend if in the area or even a drive away.
The Seventh RoomDare 2 EscapeEscape roomIRLOverall a great room! Loved the theming and immersion, for the most part everything flowed well and was intuitive. Got stuck at the beginning for a while since we didn’t take the hint literally. A few things that were frustrating from a solving puzzles standpoint Iike lack of lighting when it was clearly needed and dubious math. The room was played up to be extremely scary (which we were looking forward to) but were disappointed (not sure if this was done purposefully since I mentioned I do jump easily)- more spooky than scary. Our GM was incredible with setting the stage and vibe. Still one of our favorite rooms here and would recommend!
Operation Treehouse: Capture the FlagThe Escape Ventures - Winter Garden [prev. Escape Goat]Escape roomIRLThis was just a good fun time! We did as a group of 2 and were told here’s be a lot for us to do and boy were we excited to do it all! The puzzles aren’t mind bending or new and earth shattering but were so appropriate for the theme, logical, and had us saying this is cool multiple times. We love a room where you think “this is a stupid silly idea, but I’m gonna try it anyway” and it worked! Quite non-linear at the beginning so there’s something for everyone to do.If you want to laugh and enjoy your childhood again for an hour, don’t hesitate!
Cosmic CrisisThe Escape Game - TampaEscape roomIRLThis was a great room. Very immersive and not kitschy at all. I love sci-fi but these games are often tech and vocabulary heavy that makes the room arduous. I’m happy to say that this room was not at all arduous- yes there are technical terms but there was a lout of context provided. The puzzles too were unique and needed some out of the box thinking which made it more fun. There was one part where I questioned if I was about to do something very “taboo” but rest assured… just do it lol. The GM reassured me it was fine after I already did it 😅 The ending forces your group to make some important decisions very quickly which was a great plot twist.
Dog DaysPrototype Escape GamesEscape roomIRLOverall this was a really fun room! Well themed and immersive. The GM/owner made it all that more memorable with his enthusiasm and energy. Non-linear game play and the puzzles are created so that you cannot do them on your own easily- communication is key! Definitely recommend doing this room if you're in the area!
PlaygroundThe Escape Game - TampaEscape roomIRLWe’ve been wanting to do this room for a long time but lack of cost-effective private rooms for 2 people have made it more of a wish. Our day was made though as we happened to walk in on this new location to check it out and there was a free room that was open! Playground definitely lives up to the hype!! So much nostalgia from elementary school and the immersion is impressive. They even have cubbies for you to keep your things 😍 The puzzles were great- only 2 locks throughout the entire game. So many different types, not too difficult, but all so on theme. You had to pass your classes and all the puzzles were class relevant- ie for math class you had to solve math puzzles, for PE you had to do something physical, English was a word puzzle, etc. you got to see your report progress on the wall which was a fun touch. There were surprises in each new room and it really felt like you were on a playground. The GM and manager were so enthusiastic and encouraging. Overall a great game, great location, great people. Thank you for helping us check off something on our bucket list 🥰
