Particularly the involvement of players in some of the props and story line. Puzzles were not too difficult but the scare factor did play a role in us taking us longer to finish the room. No live actors but be weary of jump scares. Would love to try another room with Mission Escape Games.
Houdini60Out - Silver LakeEscape roomIRLThe theme of this room was spot on! Loved the start of the room along with the use of props and technology. We finished a little over half an hour with a seasoned group of players. Not the hardest or easiest room but definitely fun.
Down The Rabbit HoleTrapped! Escape Room - UplandEscape roomIRLFun game and a great room for beginners. We played this room with many seasoned players and finished fairly quickly. Puzzles were linear and straightforward. Some were a little more challenging. Would definitely recommend for those who have a handful of escape room experiences if not none.
Grandma's SurpriseTrapped! Escape Room - Los AngelesEscape roomIRLTheme was very surprising without any spoilers! Puzzles were linear and we were able to finish the normal puzzles fairly quickly. The bonus puzzles were very challenging. Would definitely recommend to those who are beginners to intermediate.

Only 2 people from our group of 6 were the main ones solving the puzzles. The interaction between the game master and players was great, however. Loved how they incorporated that aspect with the theme of the room. I recommend playing this room with 4 people or less.

The opening was a surprise and the use of technology for some of the puzzles was very unique. Loved the ending of the room as well. Puzzles were linear. I would recommend this room for a group of 6 or less. Definitely recommend this room to the intermediate player.
The Light RoomNodus 805 Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLSad to see that this room closed down. This was one of the more difficult escape rooms that I’ve played. Loved the theme and storyline. We did have to use multiple hints, but in the end our group was able to escape.
The CursedEntangled - Orange [prev. Code Red Escape Rooms]Escape roomIRLPlayed this room because of Groupon. For the price of the Groupon, it was well worth it. Although props were fairly old and one puzzle did breakdown on us, the game master made it up through his constant interaction with us. Loved how the game master kept character all throughout and interacted with us on a regular basis. They were nice of us to let us finish the room after time went out since we were one puzzle away. Would definitely recommend this room for those booking through Groupon.
Operation: X-13Trapped! Escape Room - Los AngelesEscape roomIRLFun experience and a little twist following the theme during the middle of gameplay. Loved how the theme was carried out by the game master. Puzzles were medium difficulty. There will be challenges if there isn’t anyone in the group who is “tech savvy”. Be cautious of that. Other than that, I would recommend this room to intermediate players.

Had a lot of challenging puzzles especially one of the bonus puzzles which has to be one of my favorite puzzles of all time. The room played fairly linear and we were able to spend a fair amount of time on the bonus puzzles. Would definitely recommend this room!
