Chaos EffectTrapped - CalgaryEscape roomIRLThere is a unique twist to this room that makes it like no other room I’ve done before. It was a cool concept, and it’s better to go into it knowing as little as possible. It is also worth noting that you get 70 minutes instead of the typical 60 minutes, which was needed given running between rooms took away a significant amount of time.
Jack The RipperTrapped - CalgaryEscape roomIRLThis room has stuck with me even though I did it more than a year ago. It is definitely one of my favourites. The live actor added another level of immersion. The rooms were so detailed, you can tell they put a lot of time and effort into its design. Genuinely a terrifying experience.
Pharaoh's LabyrinthExit CanadaEscape roomIRLThough this theme is overdone, this is one of the decent ones. Just to prepare, know that you will get sand in your shoes. I really liked how the group was separated, as it made the room more difficult. Other than that, most of the puzzles were pretty easy. I think that overall, this is a mediocre room.
Tokyo RushExit CanadaEscape roomIRLDecent room. Nothing too special about it. We escaped with like 25 minutes left on the clock. It was a fun theme, but some of the props could have been a bit more well-maintained.
Death NoteTrapped - MississaugaEscape roomIRLI played this room in 2022. I was pretty disappointed with this room. The theme has so much potential, but they just fell short in every way. The puzzles seemed to be all over the place, leaving my group confused on what to do next. The room design was very simple as well, which was a bit underwhelming.
