Heresy: 1897 [Immersive Theatre]Doors Of DivergenceEscape roomIRLWow. A truly incredible and immersive experience unlike any other escape room I’ve encountered. Multiple paths and endings, wow. Our “proctor” (live actor GM) was awesome. I think we unintentionally went down a villainous route (whoops 👹🦹🏻♂️) called “Limbo” (what did you all get??). After you finish they give you cards with codes that you log online to track your progress. And then there’s a sequel room that plays out based on your previous decisions. Amazing. Can’t wait to play 1917 the next time we are back in town!
Atlantis: The Forgotten CityHypnotic Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLAwesome very fun room! High tech (no locks, keys, etc). Puzzles were fun and well designed. Challenging enough to make you think but not so hard that it felt like you were doing work. Loved this room, highly recommend. There’s a lot of space so 3-4 people is perfect for this room.
Mutiny: Skull IslandEscape Games at the RiverEscape roomIRLReally fun room, one of the more enjoyable rooms I’ve done. Cool puzzles. The “hardest” room at this location (45%ish success rate according to the monitors in lobby) though two of us finished comfortably with no hints and 12 minutes to spare. If you’re in the area, definitely worth visiting! Wish we were in the area longer to try more rooms here
InksidiousEscape Room 66 - Los AngelesEscape roomIRLSuper fun and cute concept. All lock and key (so no fancy schmancy Hollywood effects or magnets, but that’s ok!) and some novel puzzles. I wish the first room was a bit larger because it was a little tight with 5 people but overall a great room. Not a very easy room so you’re going to want at least one or two experienced players so you don’t get too caught up Tuesday the owner/GM is a 💎!
Whatever Happened To The Garretts?Maze Rooms - West LAEscape roomIRLLoved this room! Nostalgia was awesome with a really cool pay off at the end. I did this with my wife, friend, and my parents. We all had a blast and were cracking up!
Escobar: Part 1 (The Betrayal)The Escape RevolutionEscape roomIRLReally fun and immersive room. This location kills it! I liked prison escape from here better but we had a blast. Cut it wayyyy closer than usual but it was very fun. Quinn is a great GM!
Wrongfully ConvictedThe Escape RevolutionEscape roomIRLReally fun and different room. Unique in so many ways. Actually felt like you were breaking out of a prison! Fairly straightforward if you know what you’re doing but man this was FUN! Can’t wait to come back to this location to try the rest.
Wizard's Treasure60Out - HollywoodEscape roomIRLBeautifully done escape room with nice set design and feedback so you know if you’re doing something right or wrong. We were 4 experienced players and we breezed through the room so it’s certainly on the easier side if you know what you’re doing. If you want your friends to get into escape rooms, this is a great introductory first room.
The Key of DestinyBoggled Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLReally well done room, especially for simple tech (mainly combo locks and keys). Very thoughtful and intelligently put together. Can be a little hard for just two people if you get caught up once or twice. Would recommend 3+ people to manage all the puzzles happening (there are a lot!).
Red GiantQuest Room - HollywoodEscape roomIRLFun room with some nice effects and neat puzzles. One or two tech things were finicky (something was misaligned by half an inch so the puzzle wasn’t being registered as being complete) Overall a solid room
