20,000 Leagues Under the SeaNovel EscapeEscape roomIRLPlayed this one with my boyfriend and we enjoyed it a lot. Overall, the puzzles were very enjoyable, a good mix of fun and challenging. There was one puzzle that I remember feeling a little too convoluted. We’d managed to figure out the correct answer the wrong way, but when the actual solution was explained I wasn’t surprised that we hadn’t interpreted it in the way they’d expected. Otherwise, it was a very fun experience and we enjoyed the unique atmosphere.
Activate [Interactive Arcade]Activate - HoustonEscape roomOther As others have mentioned, this isn’t an escape room, but it’s still a very fun experience. It’s set up as a hallway with different rooms, each with a game you can play. Each game has different variations and unlockable levels, so it stays fun even as you keep coming back. Everyone is given wristbands that they scan before entering a game. You and your group will be able to play the games privately together, but the overall experience isn’t private. There will be other groups in the main hallway with you, and on busy nights you might spend more time waiting in line to play games than actually playing them. To get the most value for your money, I’d suggest coming when it’s less busy, or just learn to love the less popular games that are available.
Scooby-Doo™ and the Spooky Castle AdventureEscapology - CypressEscape roomIRLAside from some minor technical issues with a couple puzzles, I thought this room was very fun and charming! If you book online there will be a 4 person minimum requirement, but if you call them they’re more than willing to let you attempt the room with less. The minimum requirement is a protection for beginners, but my group of 2 was still able to escape :)
The RavenUnlocked History Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLLoved it! Staff was kind and accommodating. The room was fun and the puzzles managed to be challenging without feeling like a “gotcha”. A small technical issue got us a little off track, but overall the room was a lot of fun!
