Servants of SleightThe Exit Games FLEscape roomIRLFrom the start, Jamie, our GM, was wonderful! The puzzles and clues to solve the puzzles make sense. We only needed one hint from the game master, but it was just us not using something after discovering a part of the puzzle that we needed to look at differently. It sounds cryptic because I don’t want to give anything away, but I can’t convey how irritating it is to play a game when the clues and puzzles just don’t connect. That is not the case with this room. Another thing that we liked about this room was that it was a 90 minute room. Since we do a lot of escape rooms, it took a lot of the urgency out of it for us. When we escaped we still had a little over 27 minutes on the clock. I wish I could go into all of the things that made this room amazing, but that would give away too much. Just trust me, you should do it!
The BoxTime TrapEscape roomIRLThis room is just different. The room is small and you go in with no direction or story. The explanation/description our GM gave us is that you go into a dark room with little light and open boxes to get more light or access to solve more puzzles. Because of his description we decided to give it a try. We weren’t disappointed and it was hard. But I think game enthusiasts should try it because it is challenging in a different way.
