Black and White CafeMindFox EscapeEscape roomIRLWow! The Black and White Cafe was a unique and fun experience for our group of 3. The storyline and theme were very creative and lead to a good variety of puzzles to solve. Each of us could work together or divide and conquer based on our strengths. The props were well thought out and executed- many styles I haven’t encountered before in the 30+ games I’ve played. The staff were kind and had great communication skills. A great room for a date night, family day out, or escape room enthusiasts. A wonderful experience at MindFox.
ExcaliburMindTrap Escape Room - MurrietaEscape roomIRLWe enjoyed this game. I’ve actually completed it twice- once with my sister, and then again with my mom and her friend. The theming is well done. I thought that there were some extra clever puzzles that made this room unique. The escape rooms at MindTrap are well done and this one was no exception.

The puzzles offered a variety and complexity level that kept us on our toes. I completed in a group of 2 but we both agreed that it would have been nice to have had 3-4, as some of the puzzles were more difficult to complete with the smaller number.

Our group of 2 had a great time figuring out the puzzles - and enjoying the provided candy at the “factory.” The puzzles offered a lot of variety and mixed some technology in with mechanical and thoughtful design elements. An excellent room for families.
Treasure Hunters: Station 13Escape Games at the RiverEscape roomIRLThis unique room was really excellent. You’re given 60 minutes to retrieve as many artifacts as possible. At the end you’re provided a dollar amount as to how much you’ve been able to recover. I was in a group of 2 (and we were warned that it could be challenging-as this room was designed for corporate and larger groups of 10-12) and it kept us busy the entire time. We loved it.
Holcomb’s Lost GoldBig Bear Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThe set design alone made this room a stand out. We had a group of 4 including my 90 year old grandfather. We all had a good time exploring for Holcomb’s Lost Gold and solving the puzzles. Great local historic theming and ties for the location in Big Bear.
Doggy Dog WorldESCapades LAEscape roomIRLGreat theming but some elements felt quite worn and a bit dusty. Loved being transformed into a dog and feeling small. Clever thought. Would be neat to see an updated version of this theme again somewhere.
