Very cool concept, but definitely a little worn down and dare I say a bit dingy. Could use a little love, but the idea was great and it was really fun! Great puzzles, would definitely recommend!

My family loved the game. Challenging, fun, nice quality finishes, nice staff - but we won’t be going back, and have avoided The Escape Game in general because they aren’t private rooms. We just happened to be in the area, and went in to see if anyone else had booked an available room- they hadn’t luckily so that is the only reason we went. Funny enough we called 20 mins before we got there and asked if we could book it alone since no one had, they said for a fee, about $100 more for our group, you can make it private. If we had just went on our way, they would have gotten nothing - and the room would have been empty. It’s in the heart of the gaslamp, a tourist trap, so they’ll hoping people pop in off the street they can shove into your room. There was 4 of us, and even 2 more would have been way too much. Don’t waste your money, there are tons of other SD options that are private and don’t charge you extra to have that luxury. It’s a bummer cause I do like the games, and we’d happily do them all, but off the top of my mind I don’t know one single room in SD that isn’t private so the money grab is a little off putting.
