Escape the Darkest Hour: Torture ChamberMission Escape GamesEscape roomIRLI have been slowly getting my escape room partner/cousin to do more scary escape rooms, and this is the first one that I would say was bona fide terrifying for both of us. And I adored it! Despite it being easy, the atmosphere made it hard because it was dark and scary, so our focus was depleted by our fight or flight activations. The immersion was next level, I thoroughly felt like I was in danger the entire time (complimentarily, in the literal sense of being at this location, I felt very safe). And if I was you, and without any spoilers, I WOULD be the one to lay down.
Starship | Interstellar EscapeWild Goose Escapes - FullertonEscape roomIRLI love this location. They specialize in non-linear games and prioritize immersion, which I greatly appreciate. This room doesn't stray from their strengths and adds digital elements to the experience. I admit, while it was innovative, I am generally not the biggest fan of computer games within escape rooms. Nevertheless, I did feel like I was a space miner trying to repair our ship, and I greatly enjoyed it.
ParanormalEscape Utah - Midvale [prev. Castle of Chaos]Escape roomIRLOverall really cool! I love haunt environments and this ticked off many of my favorite qualities of them. It was so immersive, it felt like it was made with love, and the experience from entering to leaving the premises felt a lot cooler than most escape rooms I’ve been to.
Dead End Inn Room 307All Points West - Laramie's Laser Tag Family Fun CenterEscape roomIRLFor a small Wyoming town, this is surprisingly a good experience. Maybe not for the seasoned escape room players, but for pure entertainment, I would happily recommend this for kids and visitors alike.
