Really enjoyed how different this was to other rooms I had completed before. Less story-oriented and more theme-based, but truly enjoyable. Everything we found was connected and utilised effectively, with minimal red herrings. One of the best escape rooms in Perth for sure.
Mafia: The Golden RingAdventure Rooms - Melbourne (Bourke St)Escape roomIRLAs a seasoned escape room enthusiast, this was by far, the hardest room I have experienced. Puzzles were challenging and well-crafted, however, the ratio of time to the number of puzzles was inadequate. This room, to complete successfully for many players, would require at least 1hr15mins or more. I was highly impressed with the quality of these puzzles- but was unsatisfied with the hint system. We are unable to ask for hints ourselves, and game masters rely on the verbal/non-verbal cues to decide when they believe players require hints. Overall, it was a great experience and escape room, with a few minor issues on my part. I do recommend this room for highly-experienced players and groups of 4+!

FracturedEscape Room Melbourne - ERMEscape roomIRLGreat room with challenging and interesting puzzles. I am always a fan of rooms with a good backstory and reason for “escaping”, and this certainly delivered. However, one of the puzzles was particularly time-consuming which slightly detracted from our overall experience. This room was highly enjoyable and clever- puzzles required more observation rather than critical thinking, which was fascinating to experience. However, what was interesting to me is that there was no way to tell how much time had elapsed, and no way to know how much time was left (even after asking the game master who refused to tell us). Upon reflection, I did actually enjoy this, as we were more focused on enjoying the experience and solving the puzzles at our own pace rather than stressing about the time. Overall, a fantastic experience- would recommend for moderate to experienced players of 3 players or more.
The DunnyEscape This - Perth CBD, Hay Street MallEscape roomIRLWe were done extremely dirty by the hint system, which relies on prerecorded audio clips. We were offered the same hint 3 times, despite already having completed what the hint was leading us to, leaving us highly confused and frustrated. When we confronted our game master following the game, she replied that she was not the one responsible for giving us those hints. Additionally, the locker which we had stored 7 bags (for 7 people) in, had been opened upon our conclusion of the game, and left unlocked by a staff member- this posed a serious safety and security risk to our valuables, and we were left disappointed with our experience, despite escaping with ample time and much success.

Several puzzles became stuck and automations would not work, leading our gamemaster to manually move us forward through the game. This wasted large amounts of time and became demoralising as this occurred many times throughout our time to escape. Extremely disappointing considering the price we paid for the room.
