Very high tech as far as clues and game play. Very deceptive, we started off flying through it and got cocky it quickly got difficult but by the time we realized it we had lost. Would definitely recommend
Art Gallery HeistBreak Free Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis was a fun room. Probably one of my favorites. It’s not necessarily an escape from the room it’s an escape with a painting. Which you have to solve clues to get to the painting and get it out. The props were great, the clues weren’t too difficult, the hosts were amazing, and it was a great time. I’d do it again.
Escape The AsylumBolivar Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis room was really well planned. It required special props that the hosts made sure worked unlike other places I’ve been. This 2.5 room escape room was well done the second was the most detailed and kept us guessing. With just two of us we used all but one minute to escape. I had put a flashlight in my pocket and forgot, by the time I realized it and brought it back she already had a team going with a new light showing she was prepared. She was thankful I returned it and very nice the whole time
The VaultEscape KemahEscape roomIRLWe had a bad experience the first time but wanted to give them a second chance. I am glad we did. The room was very well done, the game master was kinda new but she did great. They definitely earned a little respect back however i paid for too many people and they wouldn’t reimburse me for the extra player. I can’t ding them on that it was my dumb mistake but they coulda offered.
IMMUNITY: Based on Survivor GamesBreak Free Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis wasn’t necessarily an escape so much bad solving puzzles and “winning immunity”. I’m a huge survivor fan and immediately knew everyone of the puzzles. Despite seeing how they are solved many times this was a challenge room. The hosts were amazing the puzzles were well maintained and like the other two times I went there for other rooms it was hassle free.
Neon EscapeBreak Free Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis was the first room we took our kids to and it was fun for all of us from my kids to my mother in law. The clues weren’t too difficult but it was done in a way all of us were useful. Loved it.
Murder MysteryBreak Free Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThe game masters at Break Free are amazing. We have only one room left to do there and every time we go the experience is amazing. The room was very well put together and one of the most challenging I’ve done. We didn’t escape but we found out who did it!!
Jurassic EscapeEscape the Room - Houston MidtownEscape roomIRLThe game play was nice. It was just challenging enough to be interesting but not so challenging you want to give up. The game master, Carlos, was very attentive and played into our joking around.
Studio 99 RoomEscape KemahEscape roomIRLHopefully they took our advise but there were pieces of the clues where the letters and other things were worn off making it impossible to solve. They literally had to give us keys because even they couldn’t get the puzzle solved due to the poor props. It had potential to be a decent room but the lack of taking care of the props definitely ruins the game.
