Down The Rabbit HoleThe Final DoorEscape roomIRLOut of the 20 rooms I'm up to so far this was my favorite. It was well themed the GM was full spirited in the story she was AMAZING! The rooms were BEAUTIFUL and the puzzles were challenging.
Ruins: Forbidden TreasureThe Escape Game - Berry HillEscape roomIRLThis room was a lot of fun. There was some tunnel travel, and a bit dark (I'd suggest a mini flashlight.) It was a little scary (not horror just dark and put you on edge.) I loved the sound effects and the puzzles were unique.
Hidden Needle Tattoo ParlorThe Exit Games - Princess St.Escape roomIRLAfter we were done with this room our entire family just talked about how much fun it was. The puzzles were unique, and it was decorated really just just like a tattoo parlor.
Train RobberyCyber Raccoon Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis is a room with a story, they don't leave you with any open questions, and the room and props was amazing. It isn't really linear but almost. There will be a few moments where you're hinged on one issue waiting, but with three people this only happened twice for us one just a matter of a minute, and the second no more than 3-5 minutes.
Under PressureKey to EscapeEscape roomIRLWow, this room is impressive. It may not be the most difficult but every puzzle is a work of love and so unique. The owner loves gadgets and really is amazing at what he's brought "back to life" to pull this room off. It's beautiful, it feels immersive. Even as far as how you receive "helps" is cool. We drove about 45 minutes out of our vacation plans to try it out, and it was WELL worth it, and plan to make the multi hour drive from home to try the other two rooms soon!
ClueBreakout Games - GreensboroEscape roomIRLThis was a really disengaging room. While it was well decorated and on theme, and was just boring. The puzzles seemed very linear so we weren't able to work on separate puzzles at one time. Even after getting our answer to the room, we didn't feel like it was 100% correct. It was quite ambiguous not from difficulty but by design. The GM was not engaging either.
Dark Winter's Night - Clash With KrampusBackstage Escape GamesEscape roomIRLI loved the game play and the story. The decor was great, puzzles were not easy but reachable. We did use two clues but one was a frustrating thing we just missed. Also a great Holiday themed room!
Rest Easy MotelGame On Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThere were a few jump scares in this room (that were a bit much for the 10 year old skittish niece.) That being said it was an awesome room! Great puzzles, quite difficult, and just edgy enough to keep you a bit tense throughout the process. I loved the decor very on theme.
Special Ops: Mysterious MarketThe Escape Game - GatlinburgEscape roomIRLFun room, lots of unique puzzles, and well decorated. The story was really enjoyable and went well with the decor and puzzles. We had a hiccup where the game setup missed something in the reset that was slightly annoying, but didn't prevent us from having a great time. A great mix of mechanical and techy puzzles.
Mission: MarsThe Escape Game - Pigeon ForgeEscape roomIRLMy kids were a bit younger 8 and 11 and they got full body astronaut costumes which really got them excited. The puzzles were unique and fun and lots of stuff to touch and play with. It was a spectacularly gimmicky room. It was one of my first escape rooms so I didn't have a lot to compare it to, but remember enjoying it, and it being a great a/c unit in the HOT summer activities of the day.
