Would not recommend. The experience felt chaotic and disorganized, and the puzzles mostly consisted of repetitive tasks rather than engaging problem-solving. We arrived exactly on time for our booking, but were told we should’ve come 15 minutes earlier so the GM could go over the rules. The GM was noticeably curt about this and informed us that the time spent on the explanation would be deducted from our actual play time. After playing over 100 escape rooms, this was the first time we encountered a place where arriving on time was treated as being late. It set a negative tone right from the start. Before we entered the room, the GM instructed us to focus on completing mini-games to earn money, which would supposedly affect the final outcome. He briefly mentioned that there was a main storyline as well, but the emphasis seemed to be on “divide and conquer” the money-earning tasks. We followed those instructions, prioritizing the mini-games—only to find out at the end of the first room that the main story was actually more important. By then, the first phase was over, and we had missed key elements. The mini-games themselves were mostly repetitive—sorting, repetitive motions, etc.—and didn’t feel like puzzles at all. Due to the GM’s decision to dock time because we arrived “on time,” our time per room was cut short by 3-5 min each, which felt rushed and frustrating. Overall, this was one of the most disjointed and unsatisfying escape rooms we’ve done in a while. The set design was visually impressive and clearly had a high production budget, but unfortunately, that didn’t translate into a coherent or enjoyable gameplay experience.
