Storyteller's SecretBoxarooEscape roomIRLReally interesting and unique room! It's very cool that you get to cycle through the same few spaces and solve puzzles in a different way--was totally doable with two people, and was a great hour!
The BasementIntense Escape - Tampa LocationEscape roomIRLWe LOVED this room. It was terrifying. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. MUST DO!!!
Wrongfully ConvictedThe Escape RevolutionEscape roomIRLOverall, a really great escape room experience, really perfect for two people if you’re a duo! Super hospitable game master, immersive set design, and fun/novel game elements and effects. Good value for money and stands out in our memory! Also love the Australian accents from the staff ❤️🇦🇺🦘
Insane AsylumPanIQ Room - West HollywoodEscape roomIRLIt was … fine. The room was nicely themed. A few puzzles did not seem to be working as intended, were finicky, which got us stuck a few times. The plot of the escape room did not really make any sense and the puzzles were not like… really related to the theme of an insane asylum. But some of them were fun! Lots of more physical “move this around puzzles and basically no mental puzzle solving here. Everything was relatively straightforward and was just about finding objects around the rooms.
FrostEscape ArtistEscape roomIRLThe people running the room were very nice and it seems like a nice family-run business, but this room did not do it for us. The puzzles felt confusing and random and the room was filled with miscellaneous things that did not really relate to the puzzles. It's always frustrating when you cannot advance in a room because the puzzles didn't make sense instead of being just hard puzzles! (Specifically, one of the issues was with the words you had to input into one of the codes--there was nothing significant about those words in the room and that felt confusing to us!)
