There was always something for everyone to do and the room included different types of puzzles than you would not normally find in a traditional type of escape room. Very fun, definitely different - and one of the most memorable rooms we’ve ever done. Thank you!
Hotel DystopiaTrapped - VaughanEscape roomIRLThe set design and theme of the room was wonderful, but the puzzles were elaborate and incoherent. The first few puzzles were difficult but reasonable, but the last half of the room you were expected to make outrageous connections and assumptions in order to solve puzzles. We asked the GM how we were supposed to solve certain puzzles and she just said Im not sure most people just guess. The puzzles got more outrageous with each room and by the last room the stretches and steps to solve the last few puzzles were simply ridiculous. No writing tools provided which would’ve been helpful for most puzzles. Overall the room has a lot of potential but currently the puzzles just don’t make a lot of sense.
