La TabernaThe City Escape Room By ExperiencityEscape roomIRLA mind blowing experience from start to finish that was masterfully cared for by the game masters. When we thought we reached our highest level of amazement, we were exposed to an even higher level again🤯. Our experience featured costars Uri and Ines with a small guest appearance from Lucia and we can easily say these are award worthy stars! They were funny, helpful, encouraging, and never broke character. The puzzles were themed perfectly and flowed really well. Some puzzles really challenged us and I have some mild mobility issues so I was a bit nervous but I was able to make it through everything! So amazing, 10/10 would recommend time and time again. I wish I could relive it over and over again.
Distrito 111 [District 111]Unreal Room Escape Sant Martí – BarcelonaEscape roomIRLThis room blew our minds. The experience was completely immersive, challenging, creative, unique, and we cannot compile enough positive adjectives to depict the magnitude this deserves. Definitely got off to a bumpy start for just us 2 but we picked up steam as things went along; there was plenty to do. We had so much fun and we were exhausted afterwards!
Japanese Massage Center | Tao Room EscapeTao Room EscapeEscape roomIRLThis escape was probably one of the funnest ones we have done as it had so much charm and creativity to it. Despite still maintaining a healthy undertone of pressure, this one somehow mastered making the entire experience legitimately enjoyable and playful. We laughed and smiled the entire experience. The puzzles weren’t too tough so you didn’t feel completely lost - and they essentially flowed well to the next. We were a team of two and were able to split up tasks for part of the game. Our game master, Ari, was committed to her role and was really funny throughout. Literally, we can’t recommend this experience enough. You have to try it; you won’t regret it and you won’t forget it.
Pandora’s BoxTrapped! Escape Room - Las VegasEscape roomIRLWe completed Pandoras Box and it was a blast. Some game masters can really make or break an experience and Renton was one of our favorite parts of this experience. The story was really unique and the puzzles were clever. 10/10 would recommend!!!
11SOpen Mind Room EscapeEscape roomIRLWe were reluctant to do this room due to the obvious sensitivity of the topic but were really surprised and glad we did it. The experience was jarring at some point… but almost therapeutic to be present. Some aspects allow you to potentially “see or feel” what a survivor may have felt. It can get dark but it’s no different from movies imitating real events… this is just more immersive. I think it’s worth checking out for sure especially because of how much respect this group has for honoring the 9/11 tragedy, the victims, its survivors, and their loved ones.
Mayan RuinsThink Escape Games - Fort LauderdaleEscape roomIRLThis room has seen better days I’m sure. The decor was riddled with tears and broken parts including puzzle necessities. The puzzles were simplistic and predictable and our GM couldn’t be bothered. We had an overall bad experience unfortunately despite high hopes.
Vault 202project escape room Escape roomIRLThis place is creative with puzzles and really requires some thinking outside of the box (or the norm). We were challenged and really enjoyed our experience
El Loco Del Callejón [The Madman in the Alley]Experiencity ValenciaEscape roomIRLThis is an amazing escape room experience. There is so much attention to detail and care that goes into theming; we were completely immersed from start to finish. The story is intriguing and there were no dull moments (our adrenaline was pumping and it was a great feeling). The puzzles flowed logically and connecting story to activity was effortless. The game masters were so helpful without being overbearing, humble, and creative. The escape room is offered in English and Spanish and elevates the idea of a “typical” escape room. We would recommend that this not be your first experience with escape rooms but it is very appropriate with some already under your belt. This is an absolute MUST DO; we recommend it highly!
Ulysses SpaceshipMaximum EscapeEscape roomIRLSo we were a little nervous going into this one at first with lower expectations but were so pleasantly surprised! Our game master, Andres, had to have been rolling on the floor laughing with our crazy group but he didn’t make us feel embarrassed at all. He gently helped us each time, made us laugh, and really made the experience better. I can’t wait to try the other rooms at Maximum Escape
