The StorykeeperLocurioEscape roomIRLThe theme is pretty unique and the decor is well done (although a bit worse for wear due to age). The actor is a good addition, and the teamwork required for many of the puzzles is quite high, which is very nice. That said, I’m not sure why this room is so highly reviewed. Many of the puzzles are quite obtuse, leading to the frequent interruptions from the “immersive” hint device (an iPad). Being hounded by phone notifications in an escape room is not much of an escape from day to day life! One chamber in particular is exceedingly dark, which makes solving the safe lock quite challenging and led to a member of my party hitting their head really hard on a piece of the decor. This is my first review on this app but we’re definitely not inexperienced (probably 20-25 escape rooms).
