There was a good variety of different types of puzzles—we’ve done A LOT of escape rooms so some of them seemed a little basic to us, but we enjoyed many of the puzzles.

It might have gotten a love from us if not for the theme, which was too creepy for me. For people who like this premise it was very well executed. Also, our guide was super awesome about minimizing the creepiness to the best of their ability which was super appreciated!!

Shipwreck IslandEscapopolisEscape roomIRLThis room had some solid but not amazing puzzles. Our guide Angel was awesome and gave excellent small nudge hints as requested by us! The lighting was super dim, which we generally do not enjoy and did not here either. For some puzzles, it took too long to determine whether we had all the pieces we needed to solve them. It was a cool looking room that stuck to the theme well.

Scooby-Doo™ and the Spooky Castle AdventureEscapology - GarwoodEscape roomIRLFantastic room, great puzzles, great theme!!! One puzzle was a little finicky and it took a lot of effort to get our guides to confirm that we had in fact solved it. They did give us extra time because of this.
T-Rex LockdownExit 4 - CollingswoodEscape roomIRLThis room was very linear which wasn’t ideal for us. Our guide was super helpful! Once we figured out how to approach the puzzles some of them were SUPER awesome!! There weren’t a ton of puzzles though, which was kind of a bummer. There was a TON of visual information available before you were able to use it, which majorly held us up because we weren’t sure what was relevant when. But we still really had a good time and the puzzles were mostly very satisfying in the end.
