Dragon Challenge: A Hero's Choice [prev. The Quest]The Escape Ventures - Winter Garden [prev. Escape Goat]Escape roomIRLThe company will be replacing all their rooms soon, so do this ASAP before it’s gone! One of my favorite rooms I’ve done. Great theme and puzzles. Not hard, just delightful.
Puppet Heist: The Hand Of LifeThe Bureau Adventure GamesEscape roomIRLIn a word: delightful! All of The Bureau’s rooms are great, but this one is especially clever. The plot is a puppet (a la Muppets) world heist, and there’s a puppet that you use throughout. Very unique and cute. Our 11 year old has raved about it ever since, but we two adults loved it too. Pretty easy, so great for folks new to escape rooms, but unique enough to be fun for experienced gamers too.
At The Hop Ice Cream ShoppeDare 2 EscapeEscape roomIRLYup, like everyone else says: this one was hard! We don’t normally need clues, but we needed several throughout this experience. Clearly our brains don’t work like the designers’ brains. The space is small and even with our group of three there were times when one person couldn’t help at all just because of space constraints. Fun though!
Revenge Of The TombPuzzle Corp. Escape Rooms [prev. America's Escape Game Orlando]Escape roomIRLDisappointing- the room would have been great but there were multiple broken components and puzzles. At one point the game master even had to come in and fix some wiring after we successfully completed a puzzle in order to make it unlock the next thing. Wasted a bunch of time trying to complete puzzles that were out of order, with no warning ahead of time that there would be things that didn’t work. At $50 per person with no discount for children, the room was significantly more expensive than most, so expected much better and got far less.
Lab at Loch NessThe Bureau Adventure GamesEscape roomIRLMaybe it was just us, but boy we had a hard time with this at the beginning! It starts as a split room with your group in two separate rooms, and your communication has to be particularly clear to each other. Harder than other split rooms we’ve done. Really great theme though and lots of clever puzzles.
Robot RebellionThe Bureau Adventure GamesEscape roomIRLNot a typical escape room in which you’re racing to finish as fast as you can- it’s designed to spend as much time as you can to save as many robot escapees as you can. A hybrid between an escape room and a themed arcade. Make sure your party stays together as a door closes between each room as you advance. Unusual and fun!
