Agatha Christie's Murder On The Orient Express
Escapology - Las Vegas
Escape room
IRL
This was one of the rooms I loved so much. The atmosphere and design was amazing, and the puzzles were on point.
Confinement
Red Door Escape Room - San Mateo
Escape room
IRL
Fun room. It’s a lot more creepy than scary, but the staff did offer to make the room even scarier…I’m thinking one of them in the room? We said no to that. =)
Mission: Mars
The Escape Game - Chicago
Escape room
IRL
Escape From Alcatraz
EscapeSF
Escape room
IRL
This is fun for beginner groups or groups visiting the Bay Area. It’s simple and fun for families. My visiting family enjoyed it.
Escape The Aliens
Ryptic Room Escape - 3rd Ave
Escape room
IRL
I played this about 4 years ago, but I remember it because of the large room for improvement it has. Call me back in once that happens =)
Escape The Mad Hatter
Ryptic Room Escape - Mountain View - South Bay Location
Escape room
IRL
When my brother and I (our group) dominated and beat the other groups, we ended up having to wait for every other group to finish. Not always a fun thing to do.
Fair Game
Red Door Escape Room - San Mateo
Escape room
IRL
I liked the atmosphere, but a couple of the puzzles were broken, and some of the puzzles near the end were hard to make sense of.
Hunting Lodge: Wolf Moon Night
Xcapade - Hayward
Escape room
IRL
Some of the puzzles were broken, and final puzzle was glitched on my group. I don’t recommend this room.
Joker's Asylum
Omescape - San Jose
Escape room
IRL
This is a very difficult room, but lots of fun. I suggest bringing experienced people with you.
Lost Kingdom: Distorted Truth
Xcapade - Hayward
Escape room
IRL
Puzzles were complex and did not make sense. When we asked for help the helper gave us the “what’s wrong with you” look. What we also didn’t like was when they wouldn’t show us the solutions in the end, just “come back and try again.” Trust me, we won’t.
Mission: Mars
The Escape Game - Chicago
Escape room
IRL
This is a really cool room with lots of stuff to do. What ruined it for me was the rando kids I got stuck with, who kept trying to control the group. I can’t knock the company for that though.
