The use of an avatar was really quirky and strange. The interactivity between us and the host made it so memorable. The puzzles were clever and offered a bit of variety, as there was a combination of observation, making connections, role playing, and combining items. Many puzzles were multi-layered, building on previous solves in satisfying ways. The songs and characters were weird and delightful, and it felt like an stage production of a video game. Can’t recommend this one enough!

I think this game ups the production value, but the humor and songs are not at the same level as Keeper. Still, it’s a joy to play. Joel is such a kind and creative soul.

Nothing is watered down about this experience. I might recommend shelling out for the pre-printed materials if you don’t have a printer, as the digital PDF didn’t quite cut it for my teammate. Well worth doing, but be warned: This thing is a beast!!!
