It's hard for me to review the individual games at 13th gate because I absolutely LOVE all of them. Agent 13 gave my inner child and my adult self the satisfaction of living out the lifelong dream of being the cool agent saving the way.

Heritage Manor

I was absolutely floored by this room! I played when it first opened and was absolutely stunned that something was competing with 13th gate. It's a stark contrast from their other rooms (of which I didn't enjoy all that much). Speaking with a gm when I recently returned to play other games, it seems that things in the room may have been changed with some staff changes, but is largely the same.(So may be that some of those changes are for the worse) The story for this room MOVED me. There are characters (not actors!) that live within this story that was BEAUTIFULLY presented in a way I have never seen. There is a lot to do, but I never felt cheated in any way.  The ending was heart pounding and emotional! Given how amazing the atmosphere and lighting was, im tempted to play again to see the lose state, I've heard it is JUST as cool. I just heard about mortal and wished I had known sooner. I've been back recently and there are other rooms in Louisiana who have opened rooms more recently that obviously are borrowing the creativeness from Heritage Manor. I'm not in the know like most enthusiast, but I wish there was a way we can hole people accountable who do that to these beautiful games.
