33 escape rooms
My friend and I absolutely loved this place! The opening room is just as pictured on their website, and our host did great getting into character as the woman who hired us to help restore the hotel! It was a little bit hard having no access to light, and attempting to not bump into each other, so I wouldn’t recommend going if you have a large group. With that said, the second room feels rather large when attempting to solve puzzles. There is an option to add lighting into the room, but honestly that would ruin the experience. Not only would the objective be lost, but the puzzles that rely on touch suddenly become too easy. With the current landscape of the room, everything works! Be very weary of your surroundings, and make sure to keep communication, and you’ll escape unharmed !
Gameplay was excellent, and worked so that friends could separate and work on different parts of the overall puzzle. With that said, save for the entry room, you are entirely in the dark and must rely on touch and communication in order to successfully escape!
The atmosphere was as expected for the basement of an abandoned and haunted hotel. The old music fading in the background adds to the creepiness of it all, as well as the occasional jump scare of hearing our host over the sound system.
Staff was absolutely amazing, and was really good at getting into their character and improv-ing with the comments my friend and I would make as inexperienced electricians who were not cut out for the job!
Yes
It’s within a larger plaza in a well known area, and is noticeable as soon as you pull in.
