Your detective skills are critical to your survival. On a fast train to Budapest with your fellow detectives, you find out a man by the name of Sir Clarence Hayden has suddenly been murdered! You’re able to narrow down 5 suspects who were seen in the dining car around the same time, but it’s up to you to nail down the suspect before the next stop along the railway. Moving through the cabins and gathering evidence, the killer knows you are hot on their trail and has decided you are their next target. With you out of the picture, they would be free to escape when the train stops.

The whole time me and my party were having a blast the puzzles were challenging without being too hard and the games flowed very well into each other I would definitely recommend this room or any of the rooms from escapology

There was a lot of very high thinking puzzles so I’d say an age where you can think outside the box and there is also parts where you have to have good communication to get out

Room overall was a pretty average escape room experience. Wasn’t anything special but not a bad time.

It felt like there was a lot going on at once and not too much of a progression. We did enjoy it but I wouldn’t say this was a favorite of ours. It definitely takes good communication because all the things happening at once need to be known at the end. I wouldn’t recommend this one for kids because the location of clues matters and most kids love to grab and collect clues but that can really confusing with this one. Mine are 11 and 14 and really do help with a lot of puzzles but I found myself constantly asking where they found certain things and what it was with. Content is all appropriate for kids though!

This game is more unique than a traditional escape room, and we do our best to prepare players for that in the game description, as well as the warning during the briefing about treating the room like a crime scene, which may be tougher for some teams, particularly with younger players. That's similar to how we'd describe the popular Budapest Express as well. It is logic based, and almost like a live version of the board game, where it's more crime scene assessment or whodunnit style than a traditional escape room. Great to hear you still had fun playing!

Pleasant room with a fun “who done it” concept. You must listen to the game masters at the beginning because they tell you vital information that my team, unfortunately, disregarded which led to the last puzzle being much more difficult than intended. Fun room, cool design and nice staff.

Really appreciate the review, and advice for others, but you aren't the only ones to miss that guidance unfortunately. We know it's a little unique twist to the game style, so we do try to warn guests, though we are there to help get a team back on track, if desired (which not everyone wants help, and we totally understand and try to respect their wishes). So glad to hear that you had fun, as well as appreciated the design and the staff too!

My impression of this room is definitely clouded by my expectations going in. It didn't fully occur to me that a murder mystery doesn't directly require escaping, so the reality of this room's goal didn't sink in until I was doing it, and I didn't enjoy the process. The room was designed very well with numerous details and multiple rooms. The GM was a bit odd and seemed uncomfortable when interacting with us. Overall, a subpar experience, but if you enjoy a clue-style murder mystery over an escape, give it a try and maybe you'll enjoy it more than me.

The staff was a bit standoffish and our GM seemed uncomfortable interacting with us.

Thanks for the honest review. Sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy this unique whodunnit style which admittedly is more of a logical crime scene assessment game than a traditional escape room. None of our other games are like that, so maybe you'll enjoy the others more. Also apologies for the odd interaction from the staff back then, as that does not sounds like the normal experience with us, but glad to hear you appreciated the design of the room. We hope to see you for another escape some day.
