The Haunting Of Hyde House

This was fantastic. We haven't had the opportunity to do many "scary" or "spooky" rooms. I had this on the wishlist for our family vacation. It was our third theme from Gatlin's Escape, and it lived up to the hype. Our Game Master was attentive and gave perfect nudges without giving us too much. We loved the spooky elements and found ourselves saying "that's so cool" multiple times throughout the game. Just when we thought we were through, we'd find more to do. Really love the effort they've put into these games, and I was impressed to see all the tech working in all the rooms we played.

Rating: 4/5 - Immersive, creepy set with puzzles that fit the theme and good tech Pros: ➕Great looking set that made me feel like I was in an old house. ➕Enjoyable puzzles that fit the theming, everything made sense in the world of the game ➕Numerous tactile/physical interactions ➕Multiple rooms to discover and explore ➕Some fun surprises ➕Good use of audio and other effects ➕Lots of tech with minimal padlocks ➕GM was friendly and helpful Room for improvement: ➖Not a fan of using a runbook since only one person can read it at a time ➖Public bookings by default, private costs extra Room is creepy with a few startling moments. It can be a scary for some people, but it's more Scooby-Doo vibes. I'd recommend teams of 2-4 enthusiasts. One person will need to crawl. I completed this room solo. I enjoyed the setting the most—though I may be a bit biased toward haunted escape rooms. The puzzles weren’t overly difficult, but they were a lot of fun. This ended up being my favorite at this location.

Loved every bit of this room! Just enough spookiness but not terrifying. Our GM Destiny was amazing which made the room even better!

Phenomenal escape game. Awesome puzzles, expensive/immersive set, and the perfect eerie vibe. Don’t be too scared, you’ll be fine! The effort that goes into these rooms at this company shows.

A very creepy fun room! It’s creepy in a wholesome innocent way, so don’t worry if you think it might be super scary. We’re scaredy cats and had no issues with the few mild jump scares. The story is strangely sweet albeit sad. I loved all the twists and turns, and the locks and puzzles were super thematic and clever. I highly recommend playing with Isabella! She’s a great friend!
