LOVED this room. Probable one of the easier rooms at Gatlins. We only really needed a quick nudge in 1 or 2 spots. Good, creepy fun. Lots of fun tech and surprises!
EVERYTHING made sense. It all relates to the story which drives the experience.
Good, creepy atmosphere without being "scary".
Staff is always amazing. Our GM was great and played along with the story well. He was attentive to our game the entire time.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
Story is well thought out and executed. Very immersive.
I think, of the 5 rooms at Gatlins in the Gatlinburg location, this is the easier of them.
There was 1 traditional lock in the game and it was a door lock and it made sense! Fantastic!
We played with 4 adults and 1 child and that was plenty. Any more than that and you will be cramped. There's some small spaces and tight rooms.
There's one or two small jump scares, but nothing that you can't handle. Its not like a haunted house, but more creepy than anything.
It IS a bit creepy, but our 9 year old did fine.
Physically active
Somewhat
There is some crawling through a small tunnel. But not EVERYONE has to go that way. Just one person.
Accessibility
There is a color puzzle but they do provide a written description of the colors in the diary.
Parking sucks ANYWHERE in Gatlinburg. Just arrive early and shell out the 20 bucks for one of the scoundrels downtown offering up parking spots. No fault of Gatlins.
