2 escape rooms
It was exciting, spooky, and reminded me of Robert Bloch’s lesser known, pre-Psycho, novels of hotel horrors. I was truly riveted. I enjoyed the puzzles in this Chapter. Some were very gruesome and not for the faint of ♥️ heart.
Gameplay
This room flowed seamlessly from Chapter 1.
Atmosphere
The atmosphere was terrifying! Much creepier than Chapter 1!
Customer service
The GM was very friendly, informative, and alluring. He lured us into the second locked room mystery with cunning and skill! I think Robert locked him in the vent! The staff was welcoming and said we were the only guests to return three consecutive nights in a row!
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
This Chapter was very interesting and I found quite a bit scarier and more suspenseful than Chapter 1 (which was excellent, too!)
Story
The story flowed seamlessly from Chapter 1. The plot holds together well, and I can’t wait for Chapter 3!
Difficulty
Medium
It was difficult, but we received nudges from the man in the vent (nudges are optional, but I recommend them, especially if this is your first time).
Game tech
Mechanical
There were a lot of moving parts in Chapter 2. You will love it!
Ideal number of players
2
Two is good. The first room is small, and I think two is the perfect number, though three would give us a different perspective. The more eyes the better for this locked room mystery.
Scary
Scary
I was scared and definitely 💩👖during a few of the mechanical jump scares (I was seriously triggered by the moving parts in this room, perhaps the escalation of the music signaling our time running short, or perhaps the photographs in the first room!)
Minimum age
16
Definitely an adult game due to the true crime photos in the third chamber.
Was anything broken?
No
Live actors
No
The Front Desk Clerk was kidnapped and placed in the vent!
Physically active
Somewhat
There was a clue that required dexterity in the second chamber. Hand dexterity is required for building tools to open clues and arrange puzzles.
Accessibility
The first three chambers are wheel chair accessible, contain audio and visual clues, and require hand dexterity to piece together tools. We didn’t make it past the 3rd chamber, so I cannot speak of the other chambers. I would recommend calling ahead and speaking with the staff before booking. They are very accommodating and I am sure willing to assist so this experience can be enjoyed by all!
Easy to find location
Yes
The uber driver will drop you off at the back side of the building. Be sure to navigate to the front past the foot 🦶 print in the cement!
Parking
Easy
Plenty of parking for guests, uber drivers, and unsuspecting spouses of staff members posing as uber drivers haha! Just kidding! Our mistake!🤣
