Escape Annabelle

We really enjoyed this room. The spooky vibe was great throughout gameplay and this is a pretty large multi room experience. The sound design was also EXCELLENT and made the game very immersive. Difficulty level was great too, kept 2 of us thinking the whole time without ever feeling completely stumped. We really enjoyed this one!

A very good adaptation of the movie. The environment was very appropriate for the game. It was creepy but not scary. If you are a fan of the movie, go do it.

The room was good. Had a good flow. I like how large the room was. However, it was so hot! And our game master was low energy and inattentive. Ian missed when we asked for a clue and we were left waiting. He then game is a clue for a puzzle we already solved. Overall, the room was good. Puzzles are good and the flow was good.

This room was one of the most suspenseful and scary rooms I have ever done! The puzzles, room(s), and atmosphere made everything feel so real. I would 100% recommend this room to anyone who likes horror or suspenseful escape rooms.

We played both Annabelle games in the same day and this was the stronger of the two experiences (although as I note in the review of Annabelle Part 2, that game had one of the best surprise moments I have seen in a game). The game was eerie and definitely created unease as you felt you were in someone's abandoned home. Come across Annabelle also resulted in the players vying for not being the player to handle her and place her back in her case.

This is clearly a Gen 1 game that could use a lot of love in regards to design. Far better than part 2 which we did right after this. This game brought the scares which were fun and kept you moving a long in a fun way but just quite doesn't meet my standard for a good experience.

Definitely has a eerie/creepy feeling the set design was immersive and very large with multiple rooms.

This room was amazing. It was not very difficult but was challenging enough. The room is built into an actual house and occupies the entire second story so it feels like you are actually exploring an old haunted house. The theming and atmosphere are top notch. It’s not overly scary but definitely has a spooky atmosphere.

Built into an actual house, this game really immerses you into a world with Annabelle. Fun room, that was very linear, but will definitely be on the easy side for experienced players. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for that mix of Escape Room and Horror theme crossover. Shout out to Maddy for being an amazing Game Master!
