Legend tells of a map identifying the locations of mystical artifacts scattered across the globe. It’s been hidden deep within the walls of an ancient dojo guarded by secrets and mystery. To protect the map from those who would use it for evil, you must split into two groups, navigate the dojo, and find it before they do. Hurry, time is running out!

160 escape rooms

I would recommend avoiding this room until they fix all of the tech issues that plague it. If it operated properly, it would be a passably decent room. Starting from the beginning, there were mechanical issues on what were very obvious puzzles/answers. The GM wasn’t providing feedback during our attempts, so we weren’t sure if our approach was right or if it was a known fault in the game. An entire map goes completely unused, and there is a completely unintuitive color-related puzzle. Overall, a wildly frustrating experience that would’ve been better if we had just skipped it. I can look past a lot of things, but faulty tech/mechanisms will send me straight over the edge.

Gameplay

There was almost no flow to the game because we spent the whole time wondering if we were doing things right or if more tech was just busted.

Atmosphere

The worst part of the atmosphere was the thin walls allowing you to hear multiple other rooms and completely prevent any sort of immersion.

Customer service

The GM was very meh and didn’t bring energy to our experience. When asking questions about the room after we finished, he didn’t seem to have great answers for why certain puzzles worked a certain way.

The puzzles themselves were very simple but the vast majority of them did not work, hence the increased difficulty.

I would estimate roughly 1/2 of the puzzles had something wrong with them. Very, very frustrating.

The business is on the second floor of the complex, and there is parking on the second deck right outside the door. Don’t park at ground level.

This room had the potential to be good but it fell flat due to puzzles not triggering their respective reactions. In one of the past reviews made by another player they mention that one of the puzzles is broken and it still is…since so many puzzles didn’t trigger when they should the experience fell flat. The set design was really nice and that’s the only positive about thing about this room.

For a buddy's birthday we came to Chisholm Creek for Ramen followed by the Warrior's Way escape room game. I was concerned for awhile there that we would not succeed as we struggled in the first half of the game a considerable amount. But once we had both brains working in the same room we really took off.

I really enjoyed the set design for this game. We had a great time making our way through the multi-roomed experience. Our GM Tori did and excellent job

I have never done a Red Door game before, and I would definitely be back. Tori was fantastic! Some of the puzzles were new kinds to me (using all the senses!). The game starts with your party separated, so make sure you are prepared for that and have good communication.

GM Tori was great! She was super attentive while we were playing and questions we asked had immediate text answers, sometimes with a smiley face haha. After we escaped, she answered all the questions we had about how some elements/puzzles worked.

Story

There is a storyline that ties all the games together. I would be interested in playing the rest of the games to see what happens in the main storyline.

The game had some challenging moments, but we moved through it fluidly.

I’m only saying no because it seemed like several of the puzzles you had to position perfectly or didn’t work. Recommend if they fixed that (this was a few years ago)

Very high quality set, some puzzles could be a little finicky/abnormal but overall a well designed room.
