Witch House

After completing the Cabin /Shed, we booked this room the following day with a 50% off coupon we recieved from getting the bonus puzzle. My main negative about this place is the sheer lack of personality and care from the staff. It's as if they would rather you not be there. They (she) was not very aware of our game either. The portion of the welcome video glitched and continued to loop throughout the game, making it difficult to hear anything else. With that said... The initial video is fun and unique. We did have one piece that wasn't reset, but it was obvious, so we just pretended that it was and laughed when we solved the puzzle for it. Nicely decorated room with lots that could throw you off. We went back in to complete the bonus puzzle which we only got from the clue given to us upon reentry. Not sure we would have solved it otherwise. Overall, not as good as the Cabin but a decent room and worth the experience (if you can get past the unhappy and disengaged staff)

This is one of those escape rooms I just want to spend time in the room to admire all the amazing details they put into it. In other words, the set was quite impressive. There were some challenging and novel clues. I thought it was harder than their other room Chained even though it was listed as easier. I love that they have bonus clues in their rooms. The witch theme was so fun and was executed in the room beautifully. This was a masterpiece in escape rooms!

This place has great rooms!

We had a lot of fun in this room. The flow was perfect and the puzzles all made sense. The look and feel of the room was so fun and whimsical. Only issue we had was the bonus puzzle. We got to the end and they told us to go back for the bonus puzzle. This took us away from the excitement of escaping when we finished. I would rather have seen the puzzle just part of the room and not be a bonus. It was a bit confusing. Otherwise it was great room.

Love that even entering the building is a puzzle! This room is cool, it’s classic with a lot of fun, challenging, clever puzzles and parts. We loved it.

Another high quality room at this location. Lots of activities but not a lot to do for a big group. I’d recommended no more than 4 players. All puzzles were logical. One part wasn’t totally reset but it didn’t impact the game. Not overly difficult but very enjoyable.

This room had an AMAZING set design. Felt very theatrical and we appreciated the details that was put into the room. The puzzles were confusing at the beginning, but as you continue on they start to flow. We typically try to not ask for clues early on in the experience, but we needed it to get started. This room is our least favorite from this company, but would still recommend!

A fun Laid back room with a hint of nostalgia.

This is a very funny, whimsical, and thoroughly enjoyable room. This was my favorite of their four. It is very linear so watch your player count. We played with two and were just fine. I wouldn’t recommend more than four. I really liked several of the puzzles as they were unique and clever.

This is another game at Black Cats that teeters a heart and a thumbs up. For starters, this game has great humor, and with that, a really fun set as well and some fun puzzles as well, some props were slightly damaged detracting from the experience, and I don’t know, it just didn’t do something to make it jump that last click to heart for me, but I do think this is the best game at black cats so, if you’re only gonna do one, do this one.
