Intruders

‘Intruders’ is an experience that stayed with me long after leaving the venue. Mission Room Escape’s acting, sets, and manipulation of the environment in ‘Intruders’ absolutely blew my mind. As an immersive, theatrical escape room, ‘Intruders’ is lighter on puzzles than Mission’s other experiences — and the game is all the better for it. The smaller collection of puzzles within this immersive experience felt closer to mimesis than those in most escape rooms in Sydney. As a team of two, moving between the sparse areas of light felt tense and frightening. Each door was opened cautiously, and every second spent isolated was truly felt. The use of multiple live actors ensures players watch the cinematic scenes from perfect vantage points. If you can stomach horror, run to play ‘Intruders’. It’s a truly stellar immersive experience and an outstanding example of how theatre and escape room puzzles can be combined to create something genuinely transcendent.

Most favourite horror experience out there. We were petrified from start to the end and it was so immersive you really felt trapped (in an escape room kind of way). One of the only escape experiences I would revisit again and again.

Hands down one of the most incredible in-person experiences I've ever had in any format or medium! Amazing special effects plus ingenious lighting and sound design combine to deliver an immersive masterpiece that truly makes you feel like you are in a real-life horror movie. More of an experience than a traditional escape room, though there were still good puzzles to solve. Yes, it is indeed super scary, but in a really safe and fun way. Can't recommend it highly enough.

This was a fantastic experience. It is not a classic escape room, although you’ll still need to escape. It has simple and very few puzzles, but this is made up with a brilliant live actor experience. The atmosphere, visual and audio is exceptional. Be prepared for thrills and screams.

An amazing escape experience - fully immersive and the quality was next level. This is scary but for those that enjoy that will love this. Our director Kyle was great - highly recommend if you’re up to be scared!!

Definitely don't go into this thinking it's an escape room. It's more about the experience and they put on an EXTREMELY good show! The quality of the set as well was incredible, including lighting and sound effects. Believe it when this says it's "very scary".

AWESOME ESCAPE ROOM. This room has a live actor and he comes out of now where a lot of the time to keep you on your toes. A lot of horror movie tropes as well making you feel like you are in a movie. YOU WILL BE CHASED. Also it is more narrative based but there is an awesome plot twist.

A very scary experience!!

More of an escape “experience”, than a traditional escape room - but a very well constructed experience at that! Wouldn’t recommend for those looking for something heavily puzzled-based with lots to solve, but great if you’re looking for something spooky.
