We liked this room! Everything felt "clean" and functional. The puzzles were an interesting mix requiring keen observation, correlation and positioning of various elements. There were a few "aha!" moments and cool tricks! While everything was thematic, I did feel that the primary objective of the quest was more of a superficial dressing to tie in with the overall arc of "Back In Time" missions. You essentially solve linear puzzles leading to the final code needed to escape the room. I'd recommend this room - and will return to try the others. It wasn't "scary" but had a mildly spooky atmosphere. GM Victor took good care of us, was welcoming and friendly with a sense of humor.
It was fun solving the puzzles! The variety was nice where the linearity helps you focus on what you need to look for.
On the spooky side with good lighting. Pay attention to the sounds!
Staff (Jareth and Victor) were welcoming and chill! GM Victor was attentive, helpful, and with a sense of humor.
Particularly interesting or different
No
But will mention that some effects/puzzle tricks were cool!
The main objective doesn't quite integrate with what you had to do in the room. But the theme is well integrated everywhere though! It still makes for a very good experience even if you don't pay much attention to the main objective of the premise.
Can be done by 2 experienced players. But group of 3 would be ideal. More than 4 could feel crowded.
Overall setting and props on the spooky side. Not scary but the reveal of one puzzle may catch you by surprise if you're standing too close to it!

It's inside Stonebriar Mall, right outside Dillard's. Ground-level. Closest parking would be Dillard's. But you can also park in the covered lot facing the front of the mall, enter, make a left and keep walking all the way to the Dillard's - it will be on the right.
