The room:
We were a group of 4 who did the Smurfs escape room. Despite being adults in a room intended for kids, we enjoyed it. The construction was phenomenal, to the point of being as good as a movie set! There was no timer, though we did ask for and receive 15 min-interval reminders. The tasks were easy, but fun. I would recommend this one, though there was one technical glitch.
Customer service: Our host, Ashleigh, was standoffish and not a good fit for this industry. She was unenthusiastic, unlike other hosts who usually are super excited about escape rooms. She gave us unsolicited hints, which we didn't appreciate. Maybe she was having a bad day, but it put a damper on things.
Location: The parking cost $9 and there was no validation, which is an HHLA issue. There is no bathroom at the escape room, so you have to go to a general mall bathroom. The location is clean and safe, though a bit bare.
This was my second escape room at this location, but I've done other 60Out rooms. As I've said before, MAZE is friendlier and cheaper. But I come back for the concepts & to hang out with friends.
