We were really looking forward to this one after a solid experience at 60Out’s Hollywood location—but unfortunately, Casino Heist 2 didn’t live up to expectations. The building itself is nice—very modern, clean, and visually appealing. The lobby had great potential and the themed doors to the other rooms looked really cool, so walking in, we were excited. That said, the actual room experience was a letdown. First off, this is a fairly easy room, which is totally fine—we were a group of three and didn’t expect to be overly challenged. But the issue was that we weren’t really given the chance to solve anything. Our game master started giving us clues over the walkie-talkie right from the beginning without us asking, and we had made it clear that we preferred not to receive hints unless we requested them. On top of that, the room itself had built-in automated clues that triggered throughout the game, whether we needed them or not. So even if we wanted to stop and think, we were being fed solutions or nudged forward the entire time. It made the game feel more like a guided tour than an actual escape room experience. The puzzles did flow well, but again, they were very simple—and with all the extra help constantly being given, the game lost its momentum. The first space seemed promising, but the deeper we got into the room, the more rushed and unfinished it felt. The final section was especially anticlimactic. Overall, this felt like a missed opportunity. Maybe we caught them on an off day (it was busy and a bit chaotic in the lobby), but based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend this room to other enthusiasts—especially if you’re looking for something immersive, challenging, or hands-off when it comes to clues.

Atmosphere
Wasn’t amazing but wasn’t horrible. Little outdated in my opinion.
Customer service
Brink of thumbs down and thumbs up. They were nice but again, just a very rushed experience.
