We were really looking forward to this one after a solid experience at 60Out’s Hollywood location—but unfortunately, Casino Heist 2 didn’t live up to expectations. The building itself is nice—very modern, clean, and visually appealing. The lobby had great potential and the themed doors to the other rooms looked really cool, so walking in, we were excited. That said, the actual room experience was a letdown. First off, this is a fairly easy room, which is totally fine—we were a group of three and didn’t expect to be overly challenged. But the issue was that we weren’t really given the chance to solve anything. Our game master started giving us clues over the walkie-talkie right from the beginning without us asking, and we had made it clear that we preferred not to receive hints unless we requested them. On top of that, the room itself had built-in automated clues that triggered throughout the game, whether we needed them or not. So even if we wanted to stop and think, we were being fed solutions or nudged forward the entire time. It made the game feel more like a guided tour than an actual escape room experience. The puzzles did flow well, but again, they were very simple—and with all the extra help constantly being given, the game lost its momentum. The first space seemed promising, but the deeper we got into the room, the more rushed and unfinished it felt. The final section was especially anticlimactic. Overall, this felt like a missed opportunity. Maybe we caught them on an off day (it was busy and a bit chaotic in the lobby), but based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend this room to other enthusiasts—especially if you’re looking for something immersive, challenging, or hands-off when it comes to clues.
Wasn’t amazing but wasn’t horrible. Little outdated in my opinion.
Brink of thumbs down and thumbs up. They were nice but again, just a very rushed experience.

Enjoyed this room with simple puzzle design and good flow. Kids were able to solve puzzles efficiently.
Fun game and puzzles were a little bit more challenging and the kids did well.

Eh. It’s fine. I don’t feel fulfilled though? Idk. Idk! This review isn’t helpful, but this is genuinely the worst 60Out location if that’s helpful.

Fun game, a few of the puzzles did not work properly. Completed with two people, anything over 4 would be too many for this game

Played it fresh (without knowing the 1st one) it was a simple mix of puzzle-solving and thinking in thematic to the set design of the casino. Surprisingly satisfying, our gamemaster Indira was hella cool.

Room was great puzzles were interesting, but either seemed finicky or did not work the first few times we tried. We had the correct combination, but the mechanism didn't work or had the incorrect guess when we tried. When we came back to it, a friend did the same combination and it just magically worked. There was even a visual puzzle that the six of us had to strain our eyes very hard to see. Overall, ambiance and gameplay was great. Assuming all the locks and mechanisms for the puzzle works, I would recommend this room.

Super fun room and lots of unique puzzles. I would definitely recommend it!

Room was good, not great. Kinda bizarre because before the game the GM was going over the rules and was like obviously don’t do xyz and then you had to do xyz pretty much immediately. It was weird and we blew 5-10 minutes out the gate. IYKYK Otherwise the game was fine!

It was just ok. Fun theme, but nothing unique. One of the puzzles glitched, so that was annoying. The host, Anthony, was friendly and warm. Not very impressive compared to other options out there.
