This city is a place of complete darkness. In this escape, you will not be able to use your phone, your smart watch, or any other light source. Your vision will be of no help to you, and you will be relying solely on your other senses. This room CAN be fully enjoyed by blind or visually impaired players! And hopefully, players without visual impairments will leave this experience with a new appreciation for people who navigate the world without the use of sight. This room is truly a unique experience, find out if you have what it takes to restore the sun and escape!

City With No Sun was an unforgettable escape room experience—all in complete darkness ⚫️! To solve this room, we had to rely entirely on our other senses: touch, smell, sound, and even taste. From tactile puzzles to a smell challenge and more, every moment felt unique and immersive. We started in separate rooms, communicating to reunite by solving parallel puzzles. We’ve done a split-start room before, so I made some assumptions based on that previous room how things might work but I was wrong. It’s a great reminder that every escape room is its own adventure. Though the room was pitch black, I felt totally comfortable. However, it might not be ideal for those who are uncomfortable in the dark or prone to claustrophobia. If you're an experienced player looking for a new challenge, I highly recommend it. Just keep your group to four or fewer players to avoid feeling cramped—and definately play a few other rooms first to build your skills!

This is a fun room for the novelty aspect of it. I’ve only played two other pitch dark rooms and although this had basically no narrative, I did think it took advantage of the puzzle possibilities the best. The room makes use of multiple senses and I found that delightful. I wouldn’t want every room I play to be like this. But once you’ve done a decent amount of rooms, this is a very welcome change of pace. My only critique is that there is an end video that is a truly bizarre choice.

I enjoyed the novelty of this room and the engagement of each of the remaining senses for the puzzles. It was shorter and smaller than expected. This is a very puzzle, not story, oriented room.

Interesting concept and well executed. Can definitely see why enthusiasts enjoy the room. I will say, even with the pitch black, the puzzles are fairly simple. My main issue with the room is a complete lack of story or theme. There’s never a story presented and even the ending video is a very odd send-off. I would recommend the room to play as a fun sensory experience but as far as immersion in a story, it sort of misses the mark.

Amazingly unique room. No light whatsoever in the room so all the other senses are utilized to solve the puzzles. Very well done

Such a unique experience - it’s a must do. Completly pitch black. Your eyes will never adjust. Have to use touch, smell, taste and hearing to solve the puzzles.

Absolutely one of the coolest and unique escape rooms I’ve played.

Such an amazing experience. I’m afraid of the dark, but once I got past the first 5 minutes or so it was absolutely incredible!

Completely unique spin. Puzzles were challenging and creative. It’s not the right room if you’re a beginner but what a great change of style for experienced players. Don’t overlook this room - it’s a great time.
Gameplay was mostly clear and exceptionally well done. There were two areas where we got stuck on execution even after understanding how to solve. We keep going back and forth on whether those were flaws on the design side or misses on our side. I’ll own them as our failure but we’re stealing back the couple seconds we went over time and calling this a successful escape.
Completely dark and wildly immersive. Extra fun to walk through in the light after solving.
Annabelle was fab.

Uses every sense except sight to solve.
More of a concept than a storyline.

The room suggests a sweet spot of 4 but I think 2 was just right. I wouldn’t have liked another person added to the space.
