Transports you back to being in your 6th grade goosebumps era and you’re in your grandparents attic solving some spooky mystery with your friends, definitely kid friendly, it’s a cute adventure

What a fun room! We did this as a family of four with my teen kids and everyone loved it. It has a cute spooky theme that isn’t scary at all. It was great for Halloween time. It’s a very non-linear task oriented room with some really fun aspects. My kids have done about 50 escape rooms and rated this one in their top 10!

SUCH A SPOOPY CUTE ROOM!! We had so much fun as a team of two! There’s so much to do! If you’re a group of two, you can ask to split the puzzles or do them together. For bigger groups, they’ll give out multiple puzzles at the same time. We had a blast with the ending!

This is more of a story-driven task room than a traditional escape room. There were A LOT of small puzzles to do, but it can be scaled to the pacing of the teams. Ending was sweet.

The room is very fun and surprisingly cute. Definitely not a true scary thriller room. It’s spooky themed with silly whimsical cuteness. Families can take their kids here without much worry, unless they are honest to goodness hardcore scaredy-cats 😸👻. Gameplay was very entertaining. The way the room is designed makes it very fun to stop by just play. No major rush to beat the clock, lots to do, and everything is somewhat guided. So very beginner friendly as well. I’d categorize the room more as one to do for fun with friends, not a hardcore competitive room. It’s nice to have rooms like this 😁 Only thing to mention is there is one part that requires a bit of climbing. Be careful not to trip 😅 100% highly recommend this room and the whole company! Easily one of the best top tier escape companies near LA! All the rooms they have are amazingly well designed, tricky but not overly difficult to impossible, and themed meticulously to the point of being truly immersed in each room. Don’t hesitate to stop by for an awesome time!

This game is just so good. Similar vibe as treasure island. So much to do. So much character. An absolute must play!

Very fun room! I like Treasure Island better, but this one was also very good. The entire premise of Ghost Stories is your team need to help free the spirits of the ghosts that are stuck in that attic. It was such a unique play experience in that there's multiple puzzles, but they don't make up one continuous story (if that makes sense). You do move on to the next puzzle ... so in that sense they are linear. I also appreciate that they provide you with quality flashlights because it's VERY DIM up there. 😬 Overall, very fun! Just be careful and watch we're you're going so you don't trip. 😆😅

I really enjoyed the storytelling of this room. The theme was done in a fun/spooky way, not a creepy/horror sort of way, which I enjoyed much more. The production quality of the set was top notch here and it was a fun atmosphere to experience the puzzles and story in. I would say this is an Easy room with not very difficult puzzles, but the other aspects mentioned above are done so well that it makes up for the lack of challenge. I also really appreciate that they can scale down the 20 ghost stories if your group is going slower, or let you experience all of them if you have the time. It makes it so the more experienced escape room enthusiasts are not punished by finishing a room too quickly and still paying full price for it. I’ve done all 3 of the currently offered rooms at Brain Games now and they are all fantastic in different ways. I would highly recommend doing all 3!
