The year is 1956... or is it? With all you’ve experienced in recent weeks, it’s hard to trust even that. You went to sleep once night, and woke up here at Overbrook Hospital. The place promises care and peace for the mentally ill, but all you’ve received is manipulation, experimentation, and a heavy supply of drugs. Besides that, you’re not insane, and never have been. The whole place is a ruse, devised to cover the mind-control experiments of a group of twisted scientists. However, you won’t allow them to use you any longer. A situation at the other side of the hospital has diverted the staff’s watching eyes. It is the perfect chance for escape, and it may be your last. Find the medicines needed to restore your senses before finding your way out of this living nightmare before your mind is lost forever.

I think this is my favorite room ive done at panIQ escape rooms. The gameplay was unique and so were the puzzles. I enjoyed the theming and the eerie vibes kept you on edge. My friend and I have done >10 escape rooms together and I’m a notorious scaredy cat. We found out you can adjust/tailor how “scared” you can get (minor adjustments that don’t affect game play!). In hindsight i probably could have handled it when I asked about it in the end. The room was fun and rewarding. Our game masters Jenna and Marz were great! We asked for vague hints if we were to need them and my friend and I generally like to debrief with the game masters after the game and It was interesting chatting with them and I really appreciated what they were telling us! :)

This was so much fun! Very immersive room and a good mix of tricky to figure out, as well as physically challenging puzzles that take a lot of dexterity. Highly recommend. Mars and Jenna were amazing hosts and shared lots of recommendations as well!

Room works well with the theme. Puzzles are easy to piece together but hard to execute with only 2 players. Dexterity puzzles only need 2 players but are time consuming…you’d need other players to help complete the room. Staff at this location is FIVE STARS…even though we didn’t enjoy the game, the staff validated our frustrations & cheered us up!

Similar in theme to 60Out’s Doctor Psycho, Insane Asylum cranked up the crazy in more ways than one. Where Psycho relied on a bevy of puzzles and more scares, Asylum toned down the scares making room for more difficult puzzles. Lots of cool ideas and dexterity puzzles - where some games rely heavily on locks and keys and lockboxes, Asylum takes advantage of the space and makes really creative choices in terms of puzzles and set design. Starting in a padded cell really sets the tone and one puzzle toward the end had me sweating to get it done in time. With 2 people this game is HARD but that’s what we wanted.

Good medium-ish difficulty escape room with a few really fun inventive puzzles. Great creepy (but not scary) design that the group loved!

This room was fantastic. Lot of puzzles and plenty of things to solve. They rated it as difficult but the 4 of us (semi-experienced) finished it with only one hint
