Through The Sugar Glass

Really fun escape room with great decor. Puzzles not too hard and the theme itself was immersive. Doable with 2 people who can communicate well. Highly recommended.

I rate this experience a 5/5 (ck out my bio for rating system). Wowza, what a sweet escape - literally! For a candyholic, this room is a dream! It got max points in all my categories. The set and theme were total adorbs with a cute (?) little gingerbread man seemingly running the show. Good use of space and many surprises await in this room. The puzzles were intuitive, flowed well and integrated with the theme beautifully. There were a lot of them so we were a few minutes over time as a group of 2. The GM was kind enough to let us finish it out though. You definitely want to get to the exciting ending! I had a great time in this room. It really filled my sweet tooth - literally and figuratively!

Super fun, family-friendly, candy-filled adventure with lots of creative puzzles, hands-on activities, and even a few small spaces to crawl through. Tons of teamwork moments, and while it’s an “expert” difficulty, the GM can make it easier or harder depending on how much help you want. We asked for no hints and to just ask us if we'd like a nudge if falling behind. Our in-character GM did exactly that and made the experience very enjoyable for us. The candy theme was playful but still had some tricky, thought-provoking puzzles, and we made it out with five minutes to spare. This was our third room at Quest Tavern, and they’ve all been awesome. These guys know how to do escape rooms.

We did this immediatly after Witch's Cauldron and it was a great counter point. My daughter was delighted by this room and loved all the edible treats. There is some great team-building elements to the puzzles that encourage communication without being to ovely frustrating. Highly reccomend.

I have done every room with Quest Tavern and every room I have loved! But out of all their incredible rooms I would say this is my favorite! The theme was cute and sweet 😉 (pun intended). The way the room flowed was great, puzzles were interesting, well thought out and difficult in a good way and it was very immersive but not cream cheesy! Done with 4 people and I think the amount was perfect! If some are not escape room vets, then might need a few more as some puzzle are on the difficult end but just having multiple minds to figure out puzzles is helpful. Highly recommended!!

Seriously one of my favorite rooms in over 100 rooms played! This room was incredibly magical. No detail was overlooked. The immersion, puzzles, hints, and atmosphere were all top notch! Our game masters were amazing

A sugary sweet magical experience worthy of the reputation of Quest Tavern! Loved all the candy puzzles and props. The room is small but packed and they make good use of space. Warning for those who can’t walk that there is quite a bit of verticality to the room. There are so many things to do that our smaller group of 2 ended up taking some extra time to fully complete everything. The room does prolong game time a little with a few extra challenges that I felt didn’t need to be there, but they’re probably really fun for bigger groups or kids. Love this extension of Lord Garrick lore. It’s the perfect dessert after having a Last Supper!

Once again Quest Tavern delivered a unique and fun game experience. This was the third we’d played here and each one has been completely different from the others. Through the Sugar Glass was a very sweet treat, with plenty of whimsical puzzles. Highly recommend!

Patrick was an AMAZING GameMaster. Was super fun to have him for this room because his jokes were in theme and made us LOL a ton. He elevated the experience and also gave us room to explore and try puzzles on our own.
