This is a super fun one with a good amount of puzzles and fun/big set design. It's not the most difficult though. There are supposed to be more puzzles than usual and hence the room is 75 minutes long, but it felt like the same amount of puzzles as others and we ended up finishing in 50 minutes anyways. The storyline is fun. The puzzles were mostly different and fun. I'd recommend this room for something fun, but it's not the most challenging.

The story line was really the only good aspect about it. There was no real aha good feeling moment until toward the end, but the puzzles felt obvious, not much logic needed. It was mostly just needing to do the labor for it or waiting for a solution. The staff was very nice and honestly makes up for it a little bit. This experience would have been easily way worse if the staff wasn’t nice and understanding when the room actually completely froze on us and we had to wait nearly half an hour in the waiting room for them to hard reset it. Though they gave us extra time to complete it, they didn’t note how long the first half took us. When the reset happened they lost our time, and we couldn’t get an accurate sense of how long it took us. While the time isn’t necessarily the end of the world, it would have still been nice to have. I also think there should be some type of warning before people sign up for this room - it can be overstimulating for some individuals, and therefore I believe this is not necessarily accessible depending on the neurodiverse individual. That being said, go and do the jumanji room. It was excellent. Will definitely do other rooms by this establishment at some point. Staff was next level nice and helpful, and the room aesthetics from both were very fun.

Major breakdown mid game. Their system crashed for our room and we waited maybe 30 minutes in the lobby for them to hard reset it.

This game is super fun! Highly recommend. Game is very linear and not too difficult. Our group made it without asking any hints, but that is because we don’t like asking for any. This game is considered their most challenging Very fun to do with a group of 3 or more

This was SO FUN! I loved the theme and I loved the puzzles! Seriously so memorable. The only thing is that with both the games I’ve played at this location, the GM has come on over the god mic to give unsolicited hints, especially if something opened that we didn’t notice right away. I didn’t mind it as much this time because I was playing with newbies but generally that’s a pet peeve of mine. Still awesome though! Our GM was super nice!

And it’s definitely worth doing pretty fun room. This 1 and Jumanji are my favorite at this location thus far. I like the 75 minute length of that feels fun that way, and even with that we almost didn’t finish in time.

Gameplay

This was really fun. I liked the 75 minute room to give us time but also it was a neat idea and I liked most of the puzzles. Two of the puzzles didn’t work or like allowed us to skip through one of them at the end and the game master had to come in and Set something up for us, which was fine. Two of us were very experienced and then one of us was New # and that worked fine. You definitely need three people for one of the puzzles and try not to waste too much time on one thing.

Lots of puzzles. The game master jet was great, and he had a very cute dog in the lobby. The only thing I didn't love was on that morning you really had to do one puzzle at a time, so there was a lot of time where one person was kind of standing around to wait for the next puzzle to be unlocked. But otherwise it was pretty fun.

Grandma’s master plan was fun and straightforward! Perfect for families or small groups! Nothing fancy or crazy but cute and had some fun original ideas. Our guide Conner was great!

The game was fun to play because everything in the room was innovative that you actually have to think outside the box in order to do some of its puzzles and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good time in one of the best escape rooms in Los Angeles.

Gameplay

The game was pretty straightforward that you will hardly miss any clues at all, as long as you play the game right.
