Loved this room. As an art history major in college, I was particularly excited. Fun puzzles, still some unique aspects that I havenβt seen in many rooms despite this room being out for a while. Well designed and fun to play! I think 4 experienced players is the perfect amount of people.

We thoroughly enjoyed this room, although of all the Escape Game rooms weβve done (all the ones in DFW area) this was probably the easiest and most simple - but still a great room as all of theirs are!

This room was a very challenging (for 3 players), somewhat non-linear room, that meets the high standards of The Escape Game. The puzzles are very fun and support the plot of the game. We were told that the Grapevine location has two mirror-image rooms of The Heist. Highly recommended.
Excellent. The puzzles all supported the overall plot, were challenging, and plentiful. The game did flow well, but we got caught up a couple of times by having a solution (i.e. 3 or 4 digit codes) but were unsure which "lock" to enter them into. For us that always enters in the ambiguity of whether we have the right/wrong code or are trying to enter it into the wrong "lock". Rebuilding the room, though, it did flow well overall.
The set design was VERY well done to support the story. The Escape Game doesn't skimp on equipment so it all supported the plot perfectly. Special effects made the puzzles fun. Stepping into the room you ARE in a room of an art museum.
Our GM, Jake, did an outstanding job of moving us through the game. He did a perfect job of seeing when we were stuck and nudging us along with appropriate help.
Yes
There were a number of different parts to this room overall which made solving it interesting. In the end it was a do 1, then 2, then 3 to escape but the design of the room made it a fun game to play.
Hard
There were A LOT of puzzles in this room. There were times where we had puzzles solved and multiple options for where to apply the solution. A lot of the items in the room got used, and there were a lot of items in the room. A couple of the puzzles could have been solved in multiple ways which made them more challenging. With 3 people and no GM we would have needed another 15 minutes to get through all of the puzzles.
Mechanical
Mostly mechanical but with a good amount of tech thrown in.

We played with 3 (with the Game Master pushing us along). We needed more people to explore the vastness of the room. There were simple doors that needed opening that we just didn't have the time to get to while solving other puzzles. Six people would be able to work different puzzles at the same time without anyone getting bored.

There were a few simpler elements for younger kids but most of the problems took additional brainpower. The theme doesn't seem like kids would be into it too much (art museum?).

Everything was well-designed and worked great.

Somewhat
A little extra space to cover, but not bad.
Easy mobility, but the room is a little dark in places. A couple of the clues had fine details in pictures that were a little hard to read. Some clues were a little higher up.

In a large mall (with lots of good shopping and other fun activities). Come for The Escape Game...stay for the shopping and other activities.
Easy
The Escape Game Grapevine is located in a booming mall with lots of parking close to the nearest mall entrance.

Super fun! Very good blend of physical, observational and intuition puzzles. The immersion was very good on this room & delivery is very clean. You definitely feel the urgency to pull off the heist & escape πββοΈ Highly recommend this room! β€οΈ

Fun room! Good puzzles and flowed really nicely.

For every creative bit in this room, there was something that was mildly annoying. Many times, it was very hard to where to input codes or youβd have to guess the order of the numbers you found. The set was nice, but the second act was full of red herrings and lots of searching, which killed the mood. The final act has some nice atmospherics, though! Worth doing and better than many, but itβs not without its issues

This one is hard! Honestly, super detailed, high tech stuff. I want to do it again one of these days when the memory isnβt so fresh itβs that good. Amazing concept and design.

Pay very close attention to details. The decorations are often the clues, and they are so immersive that it's hard to understand how they provide solutions to locks. Like most of The Escape Game's rooms, there are a lot of high quality generation two (electronic) puzzles/locks in this room. We completed the room in 40 minutes. After all that, I'd say my favorite The Escape Game rooms from best to really good but not best: Playground Gold Rush Prison Break The Heist
