Plagued

I didn’t have too much expectations for this one as we normally don’t do any scary rooms plus there is an live actor. While we ended up with a lot of surprise, it’s unlike other scrame rooms, it’s a new level. The puzzles flow so great, everything just works out so smoothly, 3 of us just escape right in time. We will try butcher next time for sure.

Loved this one despite having a massive fear of the dark! The puzzles were plentiful, unique, and challenging. We made it through with 4 mins to spare. I was lucky enough to have my fiance to cling onto when I was spooked as it is quite a dark set of rooms, and we did request no live actors because the dark was enough for me. Our gamemaster Crystal was friendly, informative, and really respectful of us and my fears, 10/10!!

Plagued was the first room we have done at Scram, and we highly enjoyed it. With live actors and jump scares, this room was taken to a whole new level. The storyline is shown all the way through. You have multiple rooms to work your way through, solving numerous puzzles along the way. Some can be completed at the same time but others had to be completed in order. The stuff was realistic and there were many different styles of puzzles in this room. Staff were friendly and we had a great experience. Highly recommended.

Had an awesome time at Plagued at Scram Escape Rooms Penrith. As usual with Scram, the theming and immersion are top-notch – the atmosphere really pulls you into the story. There’s a great variety of puzzles, all well tied to the theme, which makes the whole experience suspenseful and fun. We’re seasoned escape room players, and we found this one to be on the harder side. It might benefit from a little more time, since there’s alot to do and getting stuck on one or two puzzles can really doom your chances at escaping. Overall, definitely one of the better Scram rooms out there!

Really liked this one! The plague theme felt unique and the rustic props and morbid vibe matched it well. A couple of mild jump scares added to the tension and atmosphere. Some challenging and abstract puzzles mixed in with some easy ones. Fun times!

This was such a great escape room! The staff here are amazing, and really added to the experience. There were heaps of puzzles to solve which nearly took us through the whole hour (but we escaped). We really really really enjoyed this room! We played all 3 rooms there (even one that hasn’t been advertised as being open and were only the 2nd official group to go through the room) and all 3 of their rooms were phenomenal! Best we have done in ages! Highly recommend!!!!

Plagued is a well themed and designed room, the puzzle is fun and make sense. Scary factor was in the right mix

It had been a while since I last visited Scram Penrith (having done The Sorcerer’s Secret), but this time we took on Plagued. Our Gamesmaster Jess (who also designed the room!) welcomed us with a friendly smile, and that warmth carried through the whole experience. The set design is stunning — everything fits perfectly in theme, creating a suspenseful atmosphere where you’re constantly expecting something to jump out (and maybe it does…). The dim lighting adds tension without ever feeling frustrating, and there’s no shortage of puzzles and tasks to keep everyone busy. Difficulty-wise, I’d call it a Hard-Medium. With three of us, we just scraped through with seconds left on the clock, using teamwork and a couple of clutch solves to make it out. The finish was something special, and we left buzzing.

A great room and overall great experience with the GM Jess. Lots of puzzles and the sequential nature made it clear the path you had to take to escape. Great atmosphere and decorations throughout. Very enjoyable and highly recommended.
