I sadly rate this escape experience a 3/5 (ck out my bio for rating system). This room deserves so much more if only it wasn't truly stuck in the glitchy Matrix. Cuz that's exactly what it did with us in it - glitched! I give the theme/set 1.5 pts. It truly was an immersive experience from the beginning to the end. I love the movie so I was excited to see some familiar elements (prepare to choose red or blue... π). There were surprises at every turn with some loud jump scares (just to warn those who don't prefer that - my hubby! π). The puzzles are where things went awry. One screen didn't show up so we had earned a prop that, seemingly, had no use. Then a whole section just didn't get triggered. The GM had to reset the room and bring us back to where we were but this caused us to completely miss one puzzle. In addition, the voices of those that 'helped' in the room were difficult to understand alot of the time. This all really took away from the experience so puzzles earned only a half a point from me. I rate my enjoyment 1 pt. I so wanted to love this room. Hopefully the owner will give it the TLC it needs to be the best version of itself!
