Sherlock Mystery

I rate this escape experience a 3.5/5 (ck out my bio for rating system). The set/theme got 1 pt, average. It was well crafted but nothing too exciting. It was what you would expect for a Sherlock mystery type theme. The puzzles got 1.5 pts. There were quite a few unique ones that I haven't seen before. They weren't too complicated and flowed well for 2 experienced escapers. I also really appreciated how it was made clear when you solved a puzzle. I give it 1 pt for enjoyment. There were a few little surprises with a story line twist!

A fun game with a cool set and very nice props, tech, and audio! Would especially highly recommend for new escapers. Room reveals were fab! Overall, all the games at Surf City Escapes are wonderful and capture the spirit of escape rooms fabulously. Kind and enthusiastic staff too all around!

Sometimes a Sherlock room can feel pretty generic and uninspired, but this is NOT your run of the mill Sherlock room. The theming was intentional and fun, and the puzzles were satisfying and clever. The most I’ve been immersed in a detective game.

Super fun game . Like all of the games at this location it’s a delight to play. Mystery lovers will be pleasantly surprised by all of the great Sherlock references and in-theme puzzles. Some great reveals and just all around fantastic gameplay. Definitely worth a play.
