Really enjoyable room- tactile puzzles rather than a bunch of combination locks. We did this with three people and were fine

Down a nondescript corridor, past the old library and beyond the general store, you will find Madam Zita’s curiosities – a burial ground for her collection of wicked artifacts that time has long but forgotten. However, this seemingly ordinary bazaar holds a dark secret, one buried and covered up only to be discovered by the most cunning of individuals. Whispers of evil, maniacal treachery and occult idols await. Step back in time to the roaring 80s where you will discover the secret behind the Curse of Madam Zita’s Curiosities.

I rate this room a 4/5 (ck out my bio for rating system). The set design and theme I gave 1 pt. But my favorite thing about all the rooms at this establishment is definitely the puzzles. In this room, they get 1.5 pts. The puzzles are varied between tactile and logic types. This gives a great overall puzzle experience. There was a seemingly unnecessarily long time-sucker puzzle (ya know, the type of puzzle where you figure it out right away but it takes an unreasonable amount of time to complete) which takes away from the experience a bit. I would still give my enjoyment 1.5 pts. I really like how they incorporate a distinct sound when you complete a puzzle and when they drop a hint. It's also bright enough to see (for these middle-aged eyes) and note-taking devices are readily available. My only complaint would be the polaroid. If they would just have the pic available online to more easily share!

We types in a code and it didn’t register. We did it several times and thought we got the answer wrong. Apparently it’s on a timer.

Reviewing the Magic and Curiosity shop games together. Both games have strong opening sets and far lesser impressive spaces after. Both are 45 minutes and you need to move swiftly to escape. Both games have high-consequence puzzles that can be time-consuming; solving these right the first time could make or break your escape. Both games have excellent, on-theme puzzles, which is where Find & Seek thrives. These are pretty challenging games. The Magic game is far more linear and easier, with some nice reveals early on. In general, the puzzles are solved in the room they have progressed into. The Curiosity Shop is more challenging and non-linear. Teams will be moving between the rooms back and forth more in this game. The puzzles were frantic with a rapid pace, similar to Undercooked at Omescape. There are some larger, tactile pieces that are very fun the play with. Overall, both of these games are good if you are into intense puzzling. Be ready to ask for hints if it feels like you are slowing down.

A lot of fun! There are a lot of puzzles in this 45 minute room, but every one of them is very attainable, and provides lots of variety, and great aha moments throughout the game.

Great room with fun puzzles and integration of the set into the puzzles. Really tight to try to get out in 45 minutes. Don't hesitate to ask for hints if you're stuck. Not a scary room at all, despite what the doll in the thumbnail may lead you to believe.

Reasonable puzzles but hard to do them all within the time limit

Not scary
Thumbnail looks creepy but the room itself is not. It is not a room filled with dolls.
