The Larkdale Slasher

The theming and atmosphere in this room was incredible. The ambiance was thick with tension from the moment we stepped inside all the way through to the end.

Larkdale Slasher did you do this? We went into this one as our last one to complete at Cloud9 and having watched a team bail out of fear earlier in the day I was pretty excited. The fear factor did not disappoint. It's quite an quite intimidating room from the get go, entering through a very dark area followed by some confined hallways and bloodied concrete walls, the scare factor was definitely turned up. The puzzles weren't intensely challenging but were certainly more difficult given the immersive environment and the live actor. I think having the Larkdale Slasher in the room with you is a great upgrade and one I would definitely implore you to choose. I can't say I was expecting him to hang out for most of the room but once it became clear he was there to stay we couldn't help but yap at him. Great bits were had and the actor played into some of them which my group and I were stoked about. He was also there to vaguely assist if necessary, very handy. It was bloody, dark, grim, all the things that make a horror room that little bit more exciting. Loved it.

Some cool effects with noises sounding like someone walking down the hallway to you! Most of the puzzles connected well but the last one to get you out didn’t work properly when we were there and it was hard to explain to staff over the walkie talkie and tv screen that we’d tried the right combination but it wasn’t working so kind of broke the game before we’d actually escaped which was a bit disappointing

This was a really creepy room. We stumbled on a few parts but the puzzles were interesting and kept us on our toes in a creepy basement.
