Haunted Hotel

I know that this room has been redone to something different so I want to start off by saying this review is based off the two times I played it. I originally played it with friends and then again four years later with co-workers. In terms of the story, that remained the same over the course of both times. I loved the spooky theme and the constant threat of eternal damnation which seemed relevant with the second playing. The first time through I was blown about by the set. It was appropriately spooky and gave off the remnants of a solid Scooby Doo episode. Upon returning, I was saddened to see the neglect that had overtaken the room. Pieces were broken and poorly glued together or missing completely from the different areas. The library at the end was missing 80 percent of the books. The neglect carried over to the puzzles as well. The key maze had been removed. The books needed for one puzzle had had their covers torn off or been replaced with a block of wood with the books title painted on to the front. Several new puzzles had been thrown into the area without any rhyme of reason. The overall experience had become sad and I was embarrassed that I had hyped up the room as much as I did. I understand that they are bringing in fancier rooms but if you neglect your classics you are putting profit over patrons and that eventually will cost you.

Pretty good room aside from a few very old style puzzles. Live haunted houses but I’m not a fan of animatronics in escape rooms that you can see the whole time. I played it when it first opened and they had some bugs in the puzzles they were working out. Still, it was a fun game.

We had a fun time with this theme. The rooms were dressed up to match. We had some fun with all of the different puzzles we had to finish. We love this location and their escape rooms.

My least favorite room in this location. A very well done theme once again but the puzzles were infuriating. Having animatronics expose the story is one thing but having to wait for them to say their whole voice line to understand a puzzle got very annoying very quickly.

One puzzle in particular is infuriating!!!! But the theme and the ideas behind the puzzles are very cool. Worth checking out still! You will be surprised

I found the room to be challenging, but mostly due to the amount of puzzles and, for a few, kinda poor design. We were a team of 4, 2 of which were in their first escape room. Most puzzles we had no problem with, but there were 2 that had some, I think design flaws is the beat way to put it. We had to get help with those 2 as there was no way we would have moved forward on our own with them. Overall, great room and great experience. We will be returning for other rooms.
